Youth Ministries

The Mission of the PCN Youth Ministries programs are to:

-Provide another caring and consistent adult who shows positive Christian support throughout middle school and high school to each and every youth.

- Christian support includes creating an environment to grow in faith.

-Consistent means doing our best to 'show up' in the youth's life as much a possible.

- Support parents in the rewarding, challenging, and ever-changing task of raising their youth.

Middle School

We have tons of opportunities for Middle Schoolers to get involved at PCN! Click one of the topics below to find out more.

Middle School Youth Group

On Sunday nights, Middle Schoolers are invited to join us for some games, food, and fun as we learn more about Christ and build community and friendships with each other! We play games, listen to a short message, and have a short small-group check-in before sharing dinner. Starts at 5:00pm, and pick-up is at 7:00pm!

Summer Camp

Each year PCN offers a week during the summer to travel as a group to a christian summer camp for a week as a group! Dates for 2022 TBD.

Winter Camp

This winter we were able to take a group of Middle Schoolers to Hume Lake Christian Camps in Hume Lake, CA to have a blast at their Winter Retreat! We went tubing and snowboarding and even had a team compete in the Box-sled Race. This retreat is a great opportunity to step away from the business of life and reconnect with God and each other! Dates for Winter Camp 2023 are January 27-29th.

Other Outings

Middle Schoolers also have the opportunity to participate in plenty of other outings and parties throughout the year! Spread throughout the year are bowling trips, overnights, paintball trips, craft days, and much more! Typically, at the beginning of each school year we have a Back-To-School bash, a corn maze trip, and our annual Harvest Festival! In the winter we do a White Elephant Gift Exchange, Caroling, and a New Year's Eve Party. At the beginning of the year we have our Winter Camp retreats, and our Rise Against Hunger Event, which usually happens in early April.

Getting Involved

We always appreciate anyone who wants to get involved with our group! Take a look at the opportunities below to see if any are a good fit. If they are, or you're looking for other ways to get involved, reach out to Emme Monahan at   All volunteers must be background checked per CA state law.

Volunteering - Driver

Where would we be without our volunteer drivers?? Stuck at PCN! We love hanging out at PCN, but in the case that we want to take fun trips in the local area, our volunteer drivers help us to get from Point A to Point B and back. Thanks to their help, we get to go to the corn maze, bowling, paintball, and do all sorts of other fun stuff!

Volunteering - Providing Meals

Our Meal Providers must be some of our most loved volunteers! If you are willing to feed us, we would be so so grateful. You can drop off your meal before during or before youth group, help serve and you're done! AND- you've always got a crowd of happy, hungry, kiddos saying, "THANK  YOU!"

Volunteering - Sunday Nights

If you like to hang out with kids, have silly conversations, play games, or share dinner- then this opportunity may be for you! We meet every Sunday night, and we are always grateful to have more volunteers to hang out with us. We provide a fun a safe environment for kids to explore and understand God's wisdom and love through scripture, worship, and games! If you'd like to get involved, please reach out to Emme at  .

Volunteering - Tuesday or Thursday Afternoons

Do you love to hang out, play games, help with homework, and be a positive role model for kiddos? We'd love to talk to you about joining us on Tuesdays and Thursdays! Every Tuesday and Thursday afternoon, we host an After-School Club where kids can come and hang out, work on homework, play games, and relax. If you'd like to get involved, please reach out to Emme at  .

Volunteering - Student Opportunities

Student Leadership Team

If you are a High Schooler, you are welcomed to apply for our Student Leadership Team! The Student Leadership Team helps to make decisions about trips, helps to lead youth group, and can suggest future trips and other ideas!

Gilead House Volunteer Days

We love to take a crew of students over to Gilead House, a non-profit dedicated to inspiring and empowering homeless single moms, to assist them with various projects that they need help with. Sometimes we help to organize, clean, or build furniture, but other times we provide childcare for their mothers! Please reach out to Emme at  if you are interested in volunteering with them through the church!

Rise Against Hunger

Each year in early April we team up with a non-profit called Rise Against Hunger to package 10,000+ meals which go to help those who are experiencing hunger around the world. This year, in 2022, we were able to pack 10,000 meals in an hour and a half with 34 volunteers! If you'd like to get involved, look for our sign-up links in early 2023.
