QPR Class Instructor

I am a certified/licensed trainer of the suicide-prevention class called QPR (Question, Persuade, Refer).  Helping to bring this life-saving QPR class to PCN, Novato and Marin County has been inspiring as we meet people from all walks of life with a variety of experiences around this topic. It has truly been a labor of love.   

I first started attending PCN in February 2022.  We had been members of another church for many years and wanted to find another church to call home.  We found it in PCN!  We officially joined the church in December 2022.

My background is in management development, leadership training, and change management. I earned a Master’s degree in that field and worked at Levi Strauss in San Francisco for several years and other companies in the Bay Area.  After getting married and having children, I became the director of Good Shepherd Lutheran School for 10 years.  Following that, I began working with two talented women doing hotel appraisals which allowed me to be at home while my kids were in high school.  I continue doing that work today.

My husband, John, and I met at Levi Strauss and were married in 1985.  We are the proud parents of two grown children, Allison and Jordan.  We enjoy traveling, golf, hiking, cycling, and getting together with family and friends.
