“Exercising Power in Tumultuous Times”

Pastor Adam will be offering a class series this Lent. So many people have been asking the question, “How can I live as a faithful disciple in the world today where: truth is relative, our nation is divided, the lowly are demonized, and even Christians don’t seem to see eye to eye. In this series, we will examine the use of ‘power’ and how it can be used both in healthy and unhealthy ways. How we live as faithful disciples in a difficult social climate often comes down to how we both respond to and exercise power in light of who we are in Jesus Christ. In this series, you can plan for food, fellowship, a brief lesson, storytelling, and plenty of faithful discussion.

These classes will include a potluck meal. Feel free to bring your favorite dish each week.

While registration is not required to participate, we want to encourage you to register so that we can estimate a headcount and so that you can indicate what kind of potluck dish you are planning to bring. And don’t worry, if you cannot bring a dish to share, don’t let that stop you from coming. We will have plenty of food.
